Edison, NJ (July 19, 2017) — Cryopak has announced the expansion of its CryoCube line of reusable temperature-controlled shipping systems for cold chain packaging, as well as the addition of thermal modeling technology capabilities. The full Cube line now provides four insulation categories to satisfy a wider range of customer needs. In addition to the existing fabricated expanded polystyrene (EPS) and vacuum insulated panel (VIP) solutions, Cryopak now offers the CryoCube in molded EPS as well as polyurethane (PUR) varieties.

These new additions to the CryoCube line offer flexibility and cost-efficiency when looking for a sustainable, pre-qualified cold chain shipping solution. Depending on customers’ needs, they can choose from an economical option with fabricated EPS for shorter durations (starting at 36 hours), a highest thermal performance option with VIP for extended durations (up to 120 hours), and anywhere in-between with the new molded EPS and PUR models.

"The goal behind each CryoCube is to provide the lowest delivered cost to our clients in one family of reusable solutions," said Brent Begley, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "These systems have been engineered to be cost-effective, ergonomically designed, lightweight and easy to packout, making CryoCube second to none in the temperature assurance industry," he added.

In addition to the new products, Cryopak can now employ its new Ansys Fluent simulation software to help create a more tailored solution in the event a customer has a need that cannot be met by one of the existing Cube solutions. As the most powerful computational fluid dynamics software tool available in the world, this thermal modeling capability will allow the company to expedite an optimized, cost-efficient Cube design to meet specific customer requirements.
